which was build originally by the Portugese
in 1505,and later rebuilt by the Dutch.This is also a world heritage site
named by UNESCO. There are six sites in Sri Lanka out of 385 world heritage
sites named by UNESCO. This also covers the museum which has a good collection
of ancient artifacts..

To see the worlds first coral sanctuary with many beautiful fish and corals.
Madhuganga river excursion.
A boat excursion in Madhu Ganga , a river which has 68 islands, and during
the tour, two islands are visited which shows cinemon processing and in
other island a Buddhist temple.While on tour one can see the natural tropical
flora and fauna,and how people do inland fishing.
Avisit to Sinharaja Rainforest.
which also is another world heritage site in Sri Lanka with virgin forest.

Villa Ranmenika ,and, any person interested ,can speak with the reception,

Also we can arrange 2-3 day excursions to Kandy , Dambulla
and Sigiriya. which are also World heritage sites. Kandy has the most religious
temple of the Buddhist world which has the Holy Tooth Relic of Buddha and
the Botanical gardens with more than 10000 species of plants. also another
highlight is the cultural dancing show with fire walking and other cultural
dances also in Kandy if anyone is interested, they can do shopping at a reasonable
price and visit to many gem museums. Sri Lanka is very famous for Blue sapphires
from the very ancient times.Dambulla has the largest cave in Sri Lanka (lengthwise)with
more than 2500 sq.ft of wall paintings originated from 1st century B.C. This
is the only relegious place I the world which has so much of paintings.. Sigiriya
is famous for the water gardens and the frescoes which was painted in 5th
century A.D. Also it’s amazing to see how the ancient king has build
his castle on top of the a 200 Meter rock .Also we arrange tours to Anuradhapura
and polonnaruwa which are ancient cities built by ancient kings before 2500
years and 1000 years from now. Also one can see the huge man made tanks,ruins
of ancient Ayurveda hospital complexes,and dagobas which are seconded only
to pyramids.
Yala and udawalawe excursion for people who are interested in wild life, and
the Elephant Orphanage tour. which are two day tours.
Also for people who are interested in white water rafting, cycling, and mountain
climbing can also be arranged .
For the resident guests who stays, one week, we offer elephant
riding, on top of Ranmenika the hotel Elephant free of charge.in the hotel
premises. Other guests can book her for a ride at a reasonable rate.
While on Tour all restaurants are not recommended for meals ,when you book
the tours, we will recommend the restaurants, which we can trust.
